What mobile device does RxPortyl currently support?

We currently support iPhone, iPad, iOS type devices. Android is on the way!

What types of radiology is included in the prescription pad?

RxPortyl allows physicians to send prescriptions for a very wide array of MRI’s, CT scans, X-Rays, Ultrasounds, DEXA. If you have specific scans you would like the doctor to have on his mobile app, just let us know. There is some customization capability.

How much time does it take for a doctor to write and send a prescription?

That depends on how fast the doctor can tap a few buttons on his mobile device. It generally should take less than a minute.

Where does the prescription go after the doctor sends it?

It goes directly from the doctor’s mobile device to either the imaging center’s fax machine, or specified email account, or both at your imaging facility.

How safe is the patient data?

We are required by law to be HIPAA compliant, which means the patient information is incrypted, is handled by a dedicated server which has data redundency and has a firewall.
